About The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse began in the home of James and Lucy Hodges, where a small group of believers came together with a vision to share the life transforming gospel of Jesus Christ to the largly  unreached town of Mountain Ash and its surrounding communities. 

 

Initially part of the Bryngolwg Free Mission fellowship, the group recognised the need for regeneration as the congregation aged and dwindled. 

 

The original building has now been reformed as The Lighthouse, with the hope of it developing in to a kind of mission station; a place of worship, prayer teaching and community outreach.

 

Their commitment to spreading hope and faith has ignited a renewed sense of purpose in the area, fostering a vibrant community dedicated to growth and outreach.
